Sue and I have reached a point in our lives that we have decided to travel around the world and see all the sites we have dreamed about.
Come and share our experiences as we begin our trek across the globe.
Beginning in late February/early March of 2014, our first stop on the trek will be Italy. Since we are allowed to stay only 3 months we will begin by exploring the countryside by train and tracing Bob’s ancestry. Bob’s Father’s Dad came from Bari and Bob’s Mother’s Dad came from Trapani, Sicily, which is why Bob is such a pain in the ass.
Most people cannot leave home without a detailed itinerary and four suitcases full of clothing and personal goodies. In this case, much to Sue’s chagrin, she will be limited to a single carry-on size bag and possibly, two pairs of shoes. Sorry Chico’s, Sue will no longer be a walking advertisement.
Sue and I are looking forward to being disconnected from the world, that means we will no longer have a permanent address, no more garage full of Jag’s and Maserati’s, and no cell phone for contact. You may use this website to say hello and keep apprised of our adventures. We look forward to your comments as we post our experiences for you to share.

Now some may ask if the trip was fun, if we were tired from travel and glad to be back in the states and what we might be doing next. The answer for Suzy and I is simple, we enjoyed it immensely and cannot wait to do it again next year. And so we did.
