As you travel through the Jungle in search of Ancient Temples to explore, every once in a while you will find a Monkey or two running along the side of the road. If you’re in the mood for a show, all you’ll need to do is stop your tuk-tuk and get out. The Monkeys are quite smart, if a human is along the side of the road, that means: Treats Galore ! Now unbeknownst to you, the Monkey along the street is being watched by the rest of the Troop. Once a human actually offers something to the Monkey, the rest of the Troop come right out of hiding and join the festivities of having fun and treats with the humans. To a Monkey, there are no rules, so beware. If you’ve got treats, you’re fair game. If you’re dumb enough to get close to a Monkey offering a Banana with your right hand, and you’ve still got the bag of Bananas in your left, it’s all over for you. The Monkey will grab the bag, not the Banana. You see, he’s not that stupid and will outwit you every time. Monkeys are quite fond of most any treat. Fruits are great, so are Pretzels and Cookies. If you are brave enough to reach out to the Monkeys, they are not bothered by it and may reach out and touch you in return. They are familiar with the game and if you’re really bold, you can touch them or even pick them up and put them in your lap or on your shoulder as you can see in the video. Suzy and I were not that brave, they are Jungle Monkeys and not household pets. The entertainment session may go on for about 20 minutes or so until the Monkeys get tired of the food and interaction. You’re sure to enjoy the Monkeys, they have personalities all their own. Enjoy the Video ! Click on the video for full HD screen.
