Switzerland is a country Suzy and I were eager to explore. We chose Zurich as it is this country’s largest city. We were anxious to start out on our adventure and decided to begin in the old city. As we walked around and enjoyed the sights it was easy to see that this city was the home to many high end automobiles. As an automobile enthusiast, all you needed to do was count to seven and another six figured auto would pass you by. Just have a look at the white Aston Martin that passed us by while making this video for Zurich. Suzy and I wanted to cross the street so while waiting for the traffic to thin, we were passed by a Bentley station wagon. For me, building and owning this type of car seems to be unimaginable, after all, who would want to take a performance automobile like a Bentley and turn it into a kiddie/cargo transporter? At the railway station we noticed a less fortunate disabled person in a wheelchair. As he approached, we were able to see it was quite nicely built and painted bright red. Upon closer investigation it was found to be full of Ferrari logos. This wheelchair was a real Ferrari with racing paraphernalia only Ferrari could provide. Zurich seems to be a city bustling with business where money abounds. We continued our adventures enjoying the architecture of the buildings. There was a mixture of old and new here and Swiss flags were out in abundance. Heritage here seemed to be of great importance. After walking through the city and enjoying its parks we decided we were hungry so we changed tracks from adventure to food and began restaurant hopping. We found it quite difficult to find some lunch at prices that did not seem to be extravagant. We’re talking about simple chicken or pasta dishes here. A dish that would normally cost about $9 elsewhere now cost more than $25 but when in Rome…….
Suzy and I found Zurich to be a pleasant city and enjoyed it’s picturesque beauty.
