Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and has a population of about 1.8 million people. The port of Hamburg is the second largest port in Europe only to Rotterdam. Hamburg is an industrial city and transport hub with facilities belonging to Airbus, Blohm and Voss. Suzy and I found this city to be very beautiful and full of interesting buildings and sites. Since the shipped docked for only a few hours, Suzy and I made the most of our time. We were able to see the Church of St. Michael, the City and State Parliament and the courtyard outside the Police Station. The food in Hamburg was wonderful. Suzy and I will certainly return here once again and take in some more of what this city has to offer.
